Few countries such as the United States, where there is no significant source of organic cane sugar capable of supporting domestic demand and the estimated consumption of total sugar in the country is approximately 200,000MT of in 2019, therefore, most organic cane sugar marketed in the country (both in retail and as an ingredient) is imported.

India is the Largest Sugar Cane Producing Country

India is one of the largest agricultural countries, which makes it an ideal market to expand owing to the growing consumption of sugar in the country. With new regulatory policies and amendments in the older ones, there is a greater chance for farmers and millers to increase their efforts toward cane sugar production and processing.
