Positive Displacement Gear Flow Meter is a common flow measurement device, which measures the flow of liquid or gas based on the principle of positive displacement measurement. Positive displacement gear flow meters consist of a pair of intermeshing gears, usually a driving gear and a driven gear. When a liquid or gas passes through the meter, the pressure of the fluid turns the gears. The speed of rotation of the meshing gears is directly proportional to the volume through which the fluid flows. Metering chambers are used to contain fluid and divide it into a series of equal volumes. As the gears rotate, fluid fills the spaces between the gears and is pushed into the metering chamber. Every time the gear rotates once, a certain volume of fluid is expelled. During the measurement, the rotational speed of the gear is detected by the sensor and converted into a corresponding electrical signal. This electrical signal can be further converted into a flow value and output to a display or recorder. Positive displacement gear flowmeter is suitable for flow measurement of various liquids and gases, with high precision and stability. It is widely used in petrochemical, chemical engineering, liquefied gas, food processing and other fields. Positive displacement gear flowmeters are widely used in many industries due to their simple and reliable structure and insensitivity to changes in fluid viscosity.
